Stories That Change the World

About Me

I'm a Korean Bolivian American filmmaker and it was during my undergraduate education at Wellesley College when I first fell in love with film, especially documentaries and comedy. I felt that both mediums hit at the truth in very different ways. I pursued my MFA at the USC School of Cinematic Arts with a focus on Directing and Producing. My thesis film was a documentary called "The Raw Truth," following Raw Vegans living in Los Angeles. I also directed a branded 3-part musical webseries called "Frat House Musical," that won the 34th College Television Awards for best series. Since then, I worked on many films that have premiered at Sundance, Tribeca, SXSW.

In 2017, I was an inaugural fellow for the Firelight Media Impact Producing Fellowship, where I got an in depth education into the world of impact-producing, connecting powerful allies to the right films in order to  help move the needle towards the change we would like to see in our society. Since the fellowship, I have been serving as an Impact Producer on a PBS Digital Studios/Indie Lens Storycast
6-part series called "Waking Dream," and I am serving as the Impact Producer on the two documentaries I am producing - "A Woman's Work: The NFL's Cheerleader Problem," and "Manzanar, Diverted."
